The 2024 Ojude Oba Festival was filled with color, royalty, art, a ton of steeze, and poise. A well-known event known as Ojude Oba, or "king's forecourt" in Yoruba, is celebrated yearly by the Ijebu people of Ijebu-Ode, a significant town in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria. This one-day celebration, which highlights fashion, glamour, and the rich cultural legacy of the Ijebu people, is exploding with pride in its culture.

On the third day of Eid al-Kabir, various cultural age groups known as regberegbe, made up of natives, their friends, and associates, parade at the front courtyard of the king's palace.

Each group, along with their male and female counterparts, goes all out for the priciest apparel of the season, donning vibrantly colored outfits in classic designs crafted from sanyan, alaari, etu, and adire to more modern brocades and laces.

The groups appeared at the festival this year dressed in vibrant costumes, looking flamboyant and regal.

Take pleasure in the appearances!
